Does a pool enclosure really raise the water temperature ?
Yes. Through the greenhouse effect, an enclosure can gain the water several degrees and extend the swimming season by several weeks in spring and autumn. Combined with a heat pump, the gain is even more marked.
Do you need a permit to install a pool enclosure in Switzerland ?
It depends on the height of the enclosure and on your canton. Low enclosures often require no heavy formalities, whereas high enclosures (regarded as a structure) are generally subject to a permit. With the turnkey package, Swiss Piscine guides you through the procedures.
Which enclosure height should you choose ?
It all depends on the use. A low enclosure favours discretion, safety and heat gain. A mid-height enclosure lets you walk around the pool standing up. A high enclosure becomes a true living space, for swimming all year round.
