Building a concrete pool goes hand in hand with a flexible finish : the liner (a prefabricated membrane, laid and stretched) or reinforced PVC (a thicker membrane, welded on site, ideal for complex shapes and large pools). Both ensure watertightness and dress the pool.

What is the difference between a liner and reinforced PVC ?

The liner is a thin membrane prefabricated to measure and stretched inside the pool : economical and quick. Reinforced PVC is thicker and welded on site : more hard-wearing, it adapts to any shape and suits large pools and demanding renovations.

How often should a liner be replaced ?

A liner generally lasts around ten years depending on maintenance and water balance. Reinforced PVC, being thicker, often lasts longer. Wrinkles, discolouration or water loss are the signs that it is time to act.

Can you change the colour of your pool ?

Yes : it is one of the great advantages. When replacing the finish, you choose a new shade (from white to anthracite grey) and your pool takes on a completely different feel.

Does anything need to be demolished ?

No. The concrete pool stays in place : we drain it, remove the old finish, prepare the surface and then install the new one. It is a clean and quick renovation.

How long does the project take ?

A few days depending on the size of the pool and any associated works (filtration, automatic cover…). We draw up a clear schedule right from the quote.
