Everything about the pool cover

Is a pool cover an approved safety device ?

Yes. Closed, a slatted cover forms a barrier that prevents access to the water. T&A covers comply with the NF P90-308 safety standard, one of the recognised devices for protecting young children.

Does the cover really warm the water ?

Yes, especially with solar polycarbonate slats : they let the radiation through and create a greenhouse effect. Even in PVC, the cover retains the heat accumulated during the day and limits nighttime cooling.

What is the difference between an above-ground cover and a submerged cover ?

The above-ground cover places the roller at the poolside (simple, ideal for a renovation). The submerged cover hides the roller in a niche or under a bench, inside the water : more discreet, but to be planned from the design stage.

Can a cover be installed on an existing pool ?

Yes. The above-ground cover adapts to most existing pools. For a submerged cover, an adaptation is possible depending on the configuration : we assess your pool on a case-by-case basis.

Does the cover replace a winter tarpaulin ?

The cover protects and secures the pool all year round. For winterising, a winter tarpaulin or a bar cover is still recommended depending on your installation ; we advise you on the right solution.

How is an automatic cover operated ?

The motorisation is operated by key, switch or remote control, sometimes controllable from an app. Opening and closing take a few seconds, with no effort at all.
