What's the difference between a swim spa and a pool ?
The swim spa is far more compact and heated all year round. You swim in place thanks to the counter-current, without turns : ideal where a pool wouldn't fit, and usable even in winter.
Can you really swim in a swim spa ?
Yes. A counter-current swimming system generates a powerful, adjustable flow against which you swim while staying in place. The speed adjusts from beginner to experienced swimmer.
Can the swim spa be used all year round ?
Yes : heated and well insulated, it can be enjoyed in summer and winter alike. Many users swim precisely when it's cold, in water at the ideal temperature.
Do you need a large plot ?
No, that's the whole point : a few square metres are enough. The swim spa installs on a slab, outdoors or semi-in-ground, where a conventional pool would be impossible.
Can you both swim and relax ?
Yes, on the dual-zone models : one part dedicated to counter-current swimming, another with benches and massage jets. Sport and relaxation in the same pool.
Is the swim spa suitable for rehabilitation ?
Absolutely. Warm water and impact-free exercise make it an excellent tool for recovery and gentle rehabilitation, with control over the current's speed.
