A custom concrete finish · the infinity effect

Infinity pool

The water blends into the horizon: the sense of infinity as you swim is incomparable.

Why an infinity edge ?

Spectacular to look at, a pleasure to live with

The infinity pool plays on vanishing lines, vegetation and landscape as much as on the horizon. The cascade effect creates a unique space, and the infinity edge also brings very concrete everyday benefits.

  • Continuous renewal : always clean water
  • Significantly reduced maintenance
  • Rainwater recovery via the balance tank
  • Ideal on a sloping plot or with a view

How it works

The principle of the infinity edge

The water sheet

The water flows over a coping calibrated to the millimetre, on one or several sides, to create the mirror or cascade effect.

The balance tank

The overflowing water is collected in a buried balance tank, then filtered; this is what enables permanent renewal.

The regulation

A lift pump and an automated water level keep the water sheet perfectly even, summer and winter alike.

Customisation

The same freedom as a fully custom pool

Automatic covers

Above-ground or submerged T&A, for safety and heat retention.

Treatment

Cleaning robot, salt electrolysis, automated treatment systems.

Floors & steps

Flat floor, double slope or diving pit ; custom built-in steps.

The same structure as our concrete pools

Built to last

Like all our concrete pools, your infinity pool is built with the patented Aquafeat permanent formwork system : monolithic reinforced concrete, CSTB technical approval and a ten-year warranty.

Your questions

Everything about the infinity pool

How does an infinity pool work ?
The water overflows continuously over one or several edges into a hidden channel, then reaches a balance tank before being filtered and returned to the pool. The result : a perfectly clean water sheet and a "borderless" effect.
Infinity or mirror edge, what's the difference ?
The infinity pool overflows on a single side (or two), often towards a landscape, and the channel is visible on the other edges. The mirror-edge pool overflows on all four sides, flush with the coping, for a total reflection effect.
Does an infinity pool use more water ?
No : the overflowing water is recovered in the balance tank and recirculated in a closed loop. Only natural evaporation requires topping up, just like a conventional pool. The overflow pump uses a little extra electricity.
Can you build an infinity edge on flat ground ?
Yes. The infinity edge particularly enhances sloping plots or those with a view, but it can also be built on flat ground : it is above all an aesthetic choice made possible by the concrete structure.
Is it more expensive than a conventional pool ?
Yes, the infinity edge requires an additional balance tank, pump and level regulation, as well as great precision in construction. The extra cost is defined according to your project : request a quote for a precise estimate.
